I am so sick of Ryan being sick. We just got finished with a round of antibiotics before Valentine's Day and we have barely made it past St. Patrick's Day and we are at it again. I was told by her allergist (can babies even have an ALLERGIST?, it makes her sound like a celebrity or something, whatever) that babies her age are too young to have real allergies. Does this mean we just have to have Ryan "bite the bullet" and get sick every time the wind blows too hard? I mean, as soon as the pollen made the first layer on my car, she was sneezing, had a runny nose, watery eyes and a cough. That was at least two weeks ago and the cough is still here, as is the pollen on my car. What gives? Poor thing sounds like a seal with such a hard cough and it stinks even more that she can't say it but I can tell how bard her throat hurts. That kills me, I hate that. Anyway, since I haven't posted in a while I thought I would show some pictures of Ryan in better health. I can't wait for her to get better, only 10 more days of meds left.

Ok, so its not officially crawling just yet, but we are getting close...Jaren took these videos on Friday...Doesn't it look like she's a soldier crawling through the trenches?...And she is fast, let me tell you...So cute!!!...Its probably time to safety proof the house, that'll be a first for everyone...

Spring is not my favorite season, fall and winter are my favorites. I never get enough of either season here in FL. I am much more into the leaves falling and the wind chilling than pollen on my car and waking up to 70 degrees outside at 6:30 AM. But, spring is such a great time to get pictures of my girl and grandma is hard at work already. She loves taking pictures and she really is pretty good at it, I must say. I also must say that she has some really great models to photograph. She took pictures of Ryan and her cousin Amelia yesterday at her house and they turned out so great. I cannot believe how much my baby girl is growing up, every day is something new. She is learning to use her tongue and showing it off all the time. Sometimes she looks like a puppy dog with her tongue hanging out of her mouth, such a hoot!!! Anyway, grandma said the girls weren't thrilled with the pictures, but I thought they were awesome. Enjoy!!!

"Smartphone" my @$$

Yeah, I said it and I will not apologize for it, so there. I have an awesome new phone that I barely know how to use, but I will tell you that when it malfunctions, I know what that means. It means that I need a NEW phone. I had to take my phone in TWICE before they gave me a new phone and now it doesn't work like it should. Emails not coming through, facebook and myspace messages not coming through. Too much drama to deal with. I tell ya, I feel like an idiot, I really should be smarter than this "smartphone". Whatever. I can't believe I put myself through this torture. Whatever.

Times are tough...

so much so in fact that I had to post the same pictures two different times. Thanks Kylia for pointing that fact out to me :). And to Kiera, so I misspelled a word or two, it isn't my fault that the spell check didn't catch it! So, this week I set out to catch Ryan doing new things so I could post some new pictures. What do ya know but she loves to play on the computer! She types letters and memos and even plays on the internet. Now y'all don't tell her daddy about how she bangs on the computer and isn't really typing, I don't think he reads the blog enough to know that I let her do it. That's also why I can write on here that I give her icing and cool whip and ice cream and sugar cookies when he isn't home :). I am totally kidding on all that (except the cool whip) but it's fun to tease a little bit. She was also caught dusting and helping cook, but I didn't want to break too many child labor laws.

I stand corrected...

I was reading through some old posts looking at how big Ryan has gotten and I just totally can't believe it. But, I did see some discrepancies in a couple of posts, namely her posts about sleeping. The first post about sleeping talked about how she slept all day and how cute it was in all the places she slept. Then I made a post quite recently about how she doesn't sleep during the day or even nap and I thought to myself, "Something isn't quite right here". Before I could delete the post and fix my mistake, it was done. I had contradicted myself in a matter of minutes all in the name of feeling like I had to make a shameless post so that people wouldn't comment as to why I hadn't posted in days. So, I am just trying to make amends and keep things in the clear. I would feel better, but again its just another post so that people don't haggle me about NOT posting.

This past weekend was a whirlwind. We went to the temple on Friday and Terah and Duncan watched Ryan for us, thanks so much both of y'all. Then we got up super early Saturday morning and drove down to Fort Lauderdale to visit some of our friends that we hadn't seen since moving home. I can't believe how horrible I was about that town. I cried for months when we moved down there four years ago and thought I would never be able to come home. I complained so much I even moved home on my own and left my hubby down there to go to school alone. What a crybaby I was, ok still am. Finally I got my act together and went back with him in the summer of 2006 and stayed till we were both able to move home in the winter of 2007 so Joe could finish law school at FSU. That was such a blessing. If that hadn't happened, Ryan would've been born in Boca Raton, can you belive that?!?! Anyway, long story short, we were able to visit friends and had a great time. We really were blessed to have made such good friends. We got up early AGAIN and went back to Orlando on Sunday, met Jaren, Drew, Terah and Duncan and had lunch and went home. Such a good, quick weekend. Ryan was so good through all the travel and everyone was so excited to meet her. It made me feel like a celebrity to have people come meet us, just kidding.
