Summer's here to stay...

So, we all know that Florida only has two seasons...summer and mildly less sweltering than summer. As soon as the sweltering get too unbearable (think April-ish) my kids wanna get in some water. The closest places is grandma's pool and they waste no time suiting up and jumping in. The girls love it and are getting so good at swimming, Ryan doesn't even need a life jacket anymore, though by the looks of it, you couldn't tell. Brittyn is getting better too, she's gone from staying on the steps at the start of summer/swimming season to jumping in head first. Poor Bubby is just not old enough yet to be out there but next summer I'm sure he will be!!!

Mother's Day 2013

I'm not really good at giving good Mother's Day gifts. I never know what to get my mother in-law, I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. But Jaren and I came together and helped make our mothers in-law a gift from the grandchildren. We met up at my house and painted each of the children's feet one at a time and made butterflies with their feet. We think they turned out good, I hope the grandma's were happy with them and I know the kids sure loved playing in the paint!!!

Girls just wanna have fun...

I feel like I constantly recycle my blog titles...it seems I have used this title more than once but I'm in no mood to research and confirm or deny this and to change it if necessary...anyway, spring was in full swing during the pictures on here and even though you'll see Bubby in some pics, it's really all about the girls because Bubby is too small to put up enough of a fight against two, three or four girls at once!!!...so we girls and a couple of boys did some nature trail walking/scooter-ing/cozy coupe riding as well as getting mani/pedi treating and not to be left out, we did some Cake Shop snacking...it wasn't all in one day but that's what great about cousin sleepovers with Amelia and meeting up with Bellamy and Jaren at the Cake Shop...we get to do a lot of fun, yummy stuff a lot of times!!!

Social Butterfly...

Ryan met a lot of friends during her time in Pre-K this past school year. She got invited to all the birthday parties of the kids in her class but sadly we couldn't make it to all of them. We did make it one of the parties, for her friend Summer. The party was at the Cale Shop and Ryan got to decorate cupcakes and cookies with all her friends and then they got to take them home. She had a great time with Summer and other friends from her class. I was glad that she got to go but I'm also kinda sad that her birthday is in the summer and she won't be able to pass out birthday invitations to her school friends so they can come to her parties. Oh we'll, since I can't do anything about that now, I'll just have to make sure she has a great time at her summer season birthday party!!!

They do this way too much...

I have said before and I guess I've said it in front of the girls that Huntington would have been a beautiful baby girl. I guess the girls sometimes get in the mood to make it happen. I tell the all the time to stop putting hair bows on him but they don't stop. And now that he's getting bigger and goes in their room with them to play, I bet they play dress up in there that I don't know about. I don't even wanna know what goes on in there, so long as they all come out alive!!!

Writing about my Ryan

So I still have some photos of Ryan on my phone and I want to get them on my blog before I have to delete them. I don't even know where to start with my Ryan, I just love her so much. She's a great big sister to her Sister and brother and she is becoming such a big helper at home. She is into learning everything she can about everything there is, she's a silly great dancer and can make up words to a song so quick you'll think she wrote the song. You'd think she's too big for her britches but she's not, she loves teddy bears and rainbows and strawberries and princess. She's a really girly girl but really like to be outside and get dirty. She wants to catch a lizard but can't get quiet enough to put her hand on one. She loves the beach and got so mad that we didn't get more and bigger crabs than the ones we did catch. She thinks her tennis shoes go with everything. She's a little bit of everything I love and just want to remember the sweet, spirited child that she is.

A post for my Brittles

I've for a lot of pics on my phone that I don't wanna delete but yet I don't wanna keep. So I'm trying to blog about them and then maybe I won't feel so bad about deleting them. So, I've compiled some pics of Brittyn and want to get them onto my blog so I when she is older (and so am I), I can remember and tell her about what a spunky and sweet little girl she was and probably will continue to be. She is so funny with the way she grabs my face when she has to tell me something really "important." She wants to be just like her sister, if Ryan wears sneakers you better bet Brittyn has hers on too. She loved her gym class and cried when it was over. She loves feeding her baby brother, even when I tell her not to feed him potato chips. She loves to sing along with the Florida Georgia Line boys and has to watch their videos several times a day. She's always willing to pack up and go wherever I need to go without reservation. I seriously can't look at her without smiling, even when I'm mad at her, which I can't really get mad at her, but you know what I mean. I love my Brittyn, my Britty, my Brittles and any other name I have or may come up with for her in the future.
