A trip to the ER...

Huntington is the second child I have had to take to the ER. I had to take Brittyn last year due to a fall and subsequent bigger than big "goose egg" on her head. Thankfully, all was fine with the exception of that ugly bruise for a while. Now, it's my Bubby's turn for a trip. This was back before Easter, making Huntington 5-6 months old. It's been a while so please forgive me. Huntington got his turn with a stomach virus that had been going around early in the spring and he had it pretty bad. He wasn't eating or drinking very much and when he did, it was minimal. This had gone on for more than two days so after I called my pediatrician they told me to go to Urgent Care, who then referred me to the ER because Huntington was so small. So, off we went to the ER to make sure my baby boy was ok. Thankfully he was, he surprisingly ate a bottle of milk and juice while we were there so we didn't have to have any IV fluids and we were able to go home unscathed (no needles)!!! I hope I'm done with ER visits from here on out, unless Ryan finds out she's the only one who hasn't gone yet and get jealous and she tries to get in somehow by breaking a bone or something...knock on wood.

The rest of Easter...

If I don't finish posts about Easter
now, I won't ever finish!!! Every time I look for a specific Easter picture, I find 10 others on my phone that I haven't posted and talked about. And to be honest, I can barely remember all that we did during the Easter season. But we did hunt eggs, take pics with the bunny at the mall, open Easter baskets and eat a lot!!!

Official Easter pics...

This year we had the pleasure of having Easter pictures with my friend Leslie Lawson (Moore). She's an inclusive creative extraordinaire and is starting to add photography to the list of EVERYTHING else that she can do. However, for anyone who try's to photograph my brood, I don't think the word "pleasure" would come to their mind. But, Leslie is a trooper and she has kids my kids ages so she knows what I'm dealing with!!! We went out to her house, new house, it's amazing, she's an architect as well and designed her own house!!! We took pictures in the yard/woods between her and her parent's house. Again, my savior Kylia came with me and helped ease the kids where they would be somewhat cooperative with Leslie. Kylia really is a great help, I don't think she realizes how responsible she is for the pictures turning out the way they do!!! We had a great time visiting and photographing with Leslie, the pictures turned out just like I wanted them to!!! So, even though its July now, I'm always eager to say Happy Easter!!!
